I am so excited for the new season of American Horror Story. It starts tonight on FX! I have to say that I was skeptical about how this new season would be based on the fact that almost all of the main characters died last season, but the promos look amazing. My two favorite characters from last season are back, Constance and Tate. Although, after reading the wikipedia entry, I learned that Jessica Lange and Evan Peters would be playing completely different characters this season, so I am excited to see how this season begins. Another important fact to point out, that I know many ladies are excited about, is the fact that Adam Levine will be in many episodes this season and he will be shirtless a lot.

Below is the promo trailer for the new season.

I am a shameless, unapologetic, No Doubt fan. I grew up in Orange County, California and when I was in 7th grade, I heard an album that changed my life. That album was Tragic Kingdom. In my mind, there was no one cooler than Gwen Stefani. She was my idol. I remember begging my mom to buy me plaid pants and wife beaters. There was time that I wore a bindi. I even had a failed-attempt at dying my hair blonde. Basically, everything in my life revolved-around being obsessed with Gwen Stefani. As I got older, I started listening to them less, but I have always appreciated the nostalgia that they make me feel.

Today No Doubt released their first new album in 11 years. Yes, there have been Gwen’s solo albums in that time, which some people may argue were better than any No Doubt album ever was, but a solo album is not a No Doubt album. I listened to the whole album on my way to work this morning and the sound brought me back to 1996. In a good way. It made me remember wearing too much makeup and skanking in a ska pit. Maybe it’s a California thing, but I just love No Doubt.

Earlier this year, adidas Originals invited girls around the world to #represent and get creative with us in the Originals White Space Project (#WSP). Girls brought their ideas to 9 of the “white spaces” we had set-up across different cities around the world. Now, we are excited to share the fruits of all the girls’ labors in a round-up video showing how the #WSP girls represented for all creative girls around the world.

In Berlin, A Shop of Modern Arts turned our Originals store in Berlin Mitte into a temporary vernissage; in Tokyo, pop icon Kyary (girl behind quirky single, “Pon Pon Pon”) filled the Tokyo store space with her creative inspiration; in New York, designer duo Coco and Breezy teamed up with soulful crooner, Yuna, to turn the SoHo store space into a DIY haven and sound stage.

While the #WSP has come to an end, adidas Originals still wants everyone to #represent, and this time, we are inviting the boys as well, to be a part of our new global “all originals represent” campaign.

True Blood Season 5 HBO Premiere june True Blood Season 5 Premieres June 10

True Blood Season 5 is almost here. It returns on Sunday, June 10 at 9 pm on HBO. I love True Blood so much. It has everything that I am looking for in a vampire soap-opera; blood, nudity, comedy, and excessive violence. Season 4 left off with the end of the witches, Lafayette killing Jesus in a moment of madness, and the possible return of Russell Edginton. I am ready for the return of my favorite summertime guilty pleasure. Until then, waiting sucks…

So the latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race comes to a close tomorrow night. I am still a little upset that my main girl, Latrice Royale, was eliminated last week, but there are still two strong competitors left. I am rooting for Chad Michaels, mainly by default now that Latrice has been eliminated, but also because I feel like I have grown up with her. I have been watching Chad perform around the Long Beach and LA area, for the past five years. Her Cher impersonation has been a staple at Club Ripple’s Thursday night Diva Show for as long as I can remember. I am rooting for Chad for her professionalism and perfection. I do agree that she is a bit old, but that’s the main complaint that I have. I like Sharon Needles, I feel like she does a good job, but her spooky schtick is a little tired. She reminds me of that dude outside of the bar at 2am begging you for money to buy meth with. Phi Phi should not have even gotten this far in the competition, she is a joke and an embarrassment. So, I will be watching on Monday night to see who the winner will be. Also, the following week is the reunion show, where we will finally find out what happened with the whole Willam drama.

RuPaul’s Drag Race airs on Monday nights at 9:00 on Logo.

So this year’s winner of the CFDA award Joseph Altuzarra, will be doing a limited edition collection with J.Crew, scheduled to hit stores next week. Also showing limited collections are runners up, Pamela Love and Creatures of the Wind. All three designers were given the same fabric and criteria, but Altuzarra will show several more pieces. Altuzarra’s Fall 2012 collection was the hit of Mercedes-Benz fashion week this year, featuring gypsy-theme prints and elaborate faux fur coats.

It will be exciting to see what his collection for J.Crew will look like and how much of it we will actually be able to afford.
