We love Katy Perry’s music. She’s one of our favorite pop icons at the moment. She got with Snoop and Diesel on her “California Gurls,” track. It doesn’t get much realer than that. Hard not to think of the irony with her recent photo shoot for Esquire Magazine though. She flaunts her natural boobs (nope, they’re not fake) and the leather outfit complete with cross in a way that any pastor’s daughter should.

Above is the first in a new video series collaboration between Flaunt Magazine and MartyParty! If you don’t already know, Flaunt Magazine prides itself on capturing timeless images reflecting fashion, the arts and lifestyle culture at its highest levels. The publication, now in its eleventh year in print remains in tune, covering icons across all sectors by equally balancing its delicate eye on both the strengths and vulnerabilities of celebrity.

MartyParty is electronic music producer/DJ who’s upcoming release Skukuza is slated to come out 6/1 through The Confluence, the track is unreleased and will be a real treat to accompany the amazing art piece.

The series is presented by The Confluence, a post label thinking management/marketing firm that takes an artist-centric approach to addressing the shifting music landscape. They will be releasing EP’s for MartyParty, AdamandEvil and the Lightning in a Bottle 2010 festival’s “Lightning in Your Ear” artist sampler to benefit the charity Critical Beats whose goal is to allow the natives to share the sacred healing sounds of their lands with new audiences all over the globe.
